too cold for gin and tonic and other stuff

It's a quiet thursday here at patternbooth, which is something of a relief as it's been a hectic couple of weeks.  So I've had time to ponder an important question.  Is it too cold for a gin and tonic? and should the fact that britvic have some natty bottle designs influence your decision?

It is decidedly chilly this week here in the UK and the toasty socks I put up on monday marked the beginning of me starting to think about keeping warm...Sasha Proods delicate watercolour geometrics brought some sunshine to tuesday, yesterday it was all about blue autumn skies...

...and tomorrow we have an interview with the very clever Sarah from Design Bark.  Definitely don't miss that one, her work is a real treat.

other stuff...

In my ongoing quest to find wallpaper for various places in the newly plastered house, I found myself in John Lewis where I spotted these two lovely cushions on my way to the wallpaper department.  Despite the cushion distraction, I am being drawn to this warm paper called Muscat from MissPrint. What do you think?
