ho ho ho! I am of course filled with baileys, mince pies and other christmas treats this week and very much in the mood for a festive break. Today is the last bit of 'other stuff' this year and I thought I'd share this fabulous tree made from grafika gift tags and posted on a super blog called 'un touche de...penguin de l'espace'. You can of course re-create this festive loveliness by getting yourself some grafika gift tags from brighton based shop 1973.
Of course we've had our christmas giveaway this last week where you could have won all sorts of marvellous treats...just for telling me your favourite colour...yes it really was that easy. The lucky winner of this epic haul is... Beth Whalley Kelly. So Beth, congratulations!! Beth chose all the hues of gold which was a marvellous choice (mustard is a particular favourite of mine). Beth all you need to do now is send me your contact details in an email to firstname.lastname@example.org and I'll get the prizes on their way to you.
In another snippet of news, an archive of beautiful patterns by the late Sheila Bownas has been brought back to life by Chelsea Cefai and released for sale. It's well worth a look at www.sheilabownas.com and the products that Chelsea has designed to showcase these wonderful patterns. In the new year I will be bringing you an interview with the lovely Chelsea and finding out all about how she revived this fascinating archive.
See you tomorrow for the last patternbooth post of the year! Cara
