Welcome to the passion 4 pattern blog hop. The project of Claire Smillie it will take you on a hop, skip and a jump through the blogs of over fifty new designers. You won't like everything you see, but you are bound to love someone's work and wonder where have they been all your life!
If you want to start at the beginning of the hop then you can link to Claires blog here. If you have travelled through the hop in an orderly fashion then you will be fresh faced from the blog of Anneline Sophia Designs, and arriving here, with me cara holland, at the home of the pattern booth blog. Welcome.
Pattern booth loves the modern, the abstract and the fun. At pattern booth I showcase gorgeous surface patterns on everything that catches my eye, from plates to cushions, from stationery to wallpaper. We also interview brilliant designers like Kirath Ghundoo and Mini Moderns. Next friday we will be talking to the very talented Tamasyn Gambell who thinks "pattern booth is a great read"... well we won't argue with her! So don't forget to visit again.
Today though I'm going to share with you some of my own work, starting here with my take on florals. This collection was inspired by some sketches I recently found that I had done over twenty years ago.
This collection is titled circus...
and finally the first outing of my latest collection titled grow.
If your taste runs to modern and abstract, then I hope you've seen something you like, and have enjoyed your quick visit to pattern booth, and if you want to see more of my patterns you can look at 'my patterns' page on the menu. Before you go have a quick scroll down the blog and see some of our other great posts this week...geometric notebooks, marimekko, neon styling... lovely. If you've enjoyed your visit then do click the 'like' button below or leave a comment, it's been great to see you here.
