in the sixth blog of Christmas

The thing about the end of one year, is that you can't help but think about the start of the next.  I came across this next piece of work a good while ago. Too late to share then, but I squirrelled it away because I thought you'd like it too.

6. Marking off the days.

This golden calendar was designed by graphic and brand designer Yurko Gutsulyak.

Each months design reflects a gold related fact. For example, January's graphic panel represents the gold held in the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, which amounts to 25% of the world's gold reserve.

To find out the meaning of the other panels, or to see more of Yurko's work, you can visit his studio site here.
