patternbooth goes to the show - part 1

Last weekend patternbooth skipped down to London to visit PULSE, a significant show on the design circuit, with over 600 brands attending in one of the cavernous halls at Earls Court. Now the thing about big shows is that there will be a LOT of stuff there, and a LOT of it won't suit you, but for me, that just makes the work I LOVE shine all the brighter.

This years Pulse was no exception.  Amongst the masses there were some great stands, some brilliant products and some lovely people.

All this week I'll be bringing you my show picks. So lets begin...

First up.  Over at the Central Saint Martin's stand I loved these bright screen printed cushions with an Indian influence, from Kangan Arora

Roddy and Ginger (of the gorgeous Logpile wallpaper fame) had these cute hand printed hard back notebooks tucked away on their stand.

Glasgow based Laura Spring was at the show with her bright, colourful and sturdy duffel bags...

and I loved the textural weavings of Wallace + Sewell.

Blodwen is a Welsh brand promoting traditional crafts. I really loved this enamelware with patterns taken from traditional Welsh blankets.

Seven Gauge Studios had a stand out display. The colours and textures of the cushions and blankets were gorgeous. I particularly loved the super sized cushions. Perfect for keeping you warm on the couch!
