monday mix

I do so love an airport magazine. Today I've got a lovely mix of patterns, all inspired by a read of the lovely Dutch interiors magazine Residence.

First up austrailian design duo Bonnie and Neil make these colourful and fun indoor tiles made of plywood.

A super bold cushion in the magazine, from print royalty Emilio Pucci sent me back to the web where I had some fun looking at a sample of Pucci's over the top prints.  I saw this gorgeous photo (below top) on an old blog by 'secondtimearound'.  I had already seen the Pucci volume from Taschen in our local book shop last time I was there.  The book covers themselves are inspiring.  I'd love to be able to flick through it at my leisure with a cup of coffee in hand.  Unfortunately the book shop had quite a strong view on me doing that...and I'm trying to resist buying every book I see!

Calming right back down again, Alissia Melka-Teichroew has some rather nice tea towels where she has used a cross work of jagged tape to create the pattern.

The cool slate grey means they would sit comfortable by most kitchen sinks.

Yes. Including mine.   Hmmmm...I'm also trying not to feed my tea towel addiction.  Temptation, temptation.
