I do love pinterest.  Though I was a bit of a late starter, I now find it is a daily addiction, finding inspiration from others and sharing patternbooth favourites.   I'm clueless when it comes to google+, and I've never really got into facebook, but pinterest is just delicious. Instant pattern pleasure in a giant scrapbook at the press of a key.

After I fell in love with the Mara Hoffman print overload I featured back in May I started pinning more pattern on pattern, and here are my faves.

It reminds me of the japanese street styles called fruits and Decora. I first came across the FRUiTS books back in 2002 in a book shop in Melborne but it's been around for much longer. In '94 Japanese photographer Shoichi Aoki started to document Tokyo street fashion, leading to the FRUiTS magazine, which I  think, is still going strong.

Talking of print overload, force of nature and queen of the bold pattern Zandra Rhodes is having a retrospective at the Fashion and Textile Museum in London. The show runs til the 31st August.  If you are a big fan then you'll also find Zandra's head office is really close by.
