I do like a bit of wall art, and if you've got the energy to visit the back catalogue of the blog, or if you've seen my pinterest boards you'll see some other examples of street art I've been impressed by.

Today though I'm bringing you an awesome piece of work by the amazing Maya Hayuk.

I first came across the Bowery Wall in 2008 when I saw the tribute mural to Keith Haring.  Haring had originally painted an unsanctioned piece on the wall in 1982, and to commemorate what would have been the artist's 50th birthday, the work was recreated.

A series of street artists have left their mark in the intervening years, and I'm glad to say the latest is Brooklyn based Maya Hayuk.  You might also like this piece from the blog archive.
