All about the wallpaper

There has been some good wallpaper out and about lately.

I loved this exciting idea which is a peelable 'tear off' paper from Latvian based ZNAK that I saw on the wonderful Design Milk blog.

Of course I then had to find out more and after navigating their rather quirky site I came across the ingenious Mosaic paper, letting you create almost limitless geo patterns, and making me hark back to my seventies childhood and the packs of gummed coloured paper I used to cut up and play with.

I very much liked this paper called 'Saru' from pattern giants Designers Guild. In fact I like everything in this shoot!

And clever Tracy Kendall deserves a big round of applause for scooping up the Elle Decoration International Design Awards 2014 Best Wallcovering award in Milan.

Of course the talent of others inspires and keeps the desire to create alive in the hearts of small designer makers like me.  Although I've just started my own journey into the world of wallpaper it is such a lovely product to produce... I just might have to start saving for wallpaper number three!
